Individual Project

In this casual, series of coasters, I experiment with playful, round forms. I found a piece of scrap butternut wood and had artificial grass in my materials collection. I manipulate the texture of the coaster by shifting the location of the artificial grass. Although this was a one-off, silly, project in an afternoon, I love the playful and tactile qualities of this project. These coasters became lovely gifts to friends and family.
