#MA400

Congratulations to Madame Architect for featuring over 400 women across all their verticals. 400+ amazing stories - it is easily my favourite design publication because it holds space for the alternative pathways and the broader stories behind a woman’s job title.

I look back fondly at the day I had in Hong Kong when I was recovering from depression. I was so overwhelmed with grief when I had to leave my whole life in New York abruptly due to job loss. I remember feeling flattered but confused when Julia reached out because my life felt like such a mess - Julia reminded me that this is still a day! There are many people that also navigating Covid Limbo, maybe reading about my experience would make them feel a little less alone. (Read original post here)

I have come really far - I am slowly building my life and home in London (I can exist here!). I am really enjoying my final semester at the Royal College of Art. It has been really good: some of which include meeting a loving partner, making lots of new friends and reconnecting with old friends, being part of creatively fulfilling projects at the Royal Academy, Salone del Mobile (stay tuned), all the things going on in London, and the incredible opportunities to speak with designers I aspired towards as part of the lecture series I run with friends, Inside/Out. I am not really sure what will be next after I graduate but I feel more comfortable with the uncertainty and I know that I will be ok.
