Degree Show at the Truman Brewery

Thank you so much to everyone that came (and tried to come) to the show. I am also flattered to be awarded the Head of Programme Award for my work and contributions to the college. My proposal aims to explore how design can support the child care needs of parents and how the existing network of schools can support the after school needs of families. Although the scheme cannot address childcare as effectively as policy making, I believe that creating the environments and conditions to nurture care, exchange skills, and build community can bring about genuine, positive change.

I am not entirely sure what is next but for the time being, there are quite a few projects going on and wrapping up soon. Taking everything in, baby steps...deep breaths, lots of tea, and trying to enjoy the process. It was difficult balancing 3 jobs during this final semester but it taught me hard lessons on working extremely efficiently, on the work that matters. I will be pivoting my focus back onto the renovation, freelance work and then transition slowly to the job hunt…!
