Student Led Lecture Series

January 2014 - April 2018

Posters, Invites, Call for Submissions, Lecture Series

Thumbnail is a lecture series organized by Architecture students at Cornell University. It is based on the model of Pecha Kucha - each presenter has 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide to tell us their ideas surrounding a theme, decided per semester. I was the lead coordinator of Thumbnail “Fake” (2017) and “Taboo” (2018). I also played a primary role in event branding, advertisements and coordination in “Origin” (2014), “Raw” (2015) and “Fluff” (2016). In these roles, I was responsible for coordinating and helping out in all aspects of the event’s curation, from designing invitations and posters, to interviewing the line-up of invited speakers and coordinating sound/visuals during the night of the event.

In collaboration with Gosia Pawlowska, Nicholas Cassab-Gheta, Nils Axen, Ben Hoffman, Amy Wood, Aya Mears, Auri Ford, Chloe Tsui, Daniel Villegas Cruz, Vinayak Poronovo, Ruby Kaur, Alexandra Donovan and Anna Kuchera.
